Arrangement wise you’ll hear influence from top 40 pop. Lyrically you’ll hear a lot of influence from emo or classic folk songwriting. So you could say I’m influenced by 70s glam and brit rock. For instance, you’ll hear a lot of 70s glam rock influenced guitar tones. That being said, there are sonic connections between all the songs that are genre specific. I think that almost defines the project at this point. Production is tedious for me, but I do like being involved in that as well so that I can steer the production to support the melodies and lyrics and maximize their emotional effect.īTS: Your music seems to float between a wide range of genres, do you feel there is one genre that defines Baby FuzZ?īaby FuzZ: I love jumping genres.
